SALA TERRENA means a set of areas connected by the exterior on the level of terrain. The name aptly describes the concept of a family cottage near Veľká Lomnica, situated on a plot of land with a panoramic view starting from Slovak Paradise through the Low Tatras to the ridge of the High Tatras.
The building combines several separate functions, such as accommodation, facilities, wellness, garage and terraces. The entrance to the building is through a covered outdoor area, illuminated through glass sections of the cover, which provides an interactive space for resting and games, fun and relaxation at the same time. The main social area is a space with an open ceiling up to the roof and with a fireplace in the middle – this area is glazed around the perimeter to perfectly blend the interior with the surrounding panorama. From the main hall there is an exit to the exposed south-west terrace, along which leads the outdoor staircase to the chamber wine cellar under the terrace.
