The bus stop is a parametrically generated concrete shell that responds to a number of requirements: the cut cylinder of the elliptical floor plan allows for the fluidity of pedestrian movement around the stop, maximizes views of the vehicles, protects those waiting from weather conditions, the southern sun and prevailing winds. The perforated shell of the cylinder makes the stop space clearer and safer.
The complicated morphology of the stop was possible to realize using 3D printing technology from four parts assembled on site and supplemented by an internal bench and three external seats of the same technology, however, the upper surfaces of the seats are made of haptically more pleasant and warmer larch.
