The MamaPapa residential building is located in the popular city district of Dúbravka, which is an ideal place for a peaceful life, especially for young families with children. The family philosophy is reflected in the project by connecting two residential buildings creating an interesting intersection, which will enable a family centre with an area of 500 m2 – the first of its kind in Bratislava.
Architects transferred the family theme into the project designs themselves, where male and female elements intertwine. The flats were designed with the aim of utilizing the area as efficiently as possible and also to allow each owner to furnish the new flat exactly according to his or her taste. The future owners of the apartments will be able to design the appearance of the balconies, which will become something like a distinguishing mark of each household. The custom design of balconies should strengthen the identity of the residents of the building and “unite” them with their future home and, at the same time, complete the look of the façade. The cherry on top is the roof terrace, which can be used by the residents for sunbathing, relaxation or family barbecues.
